Hand-embroidered men's shirt, size L/XL-XL/XXL (1800-1850)
A splendid men’s shirt dating (most likely) from the first half of the 19th century.
Crafted from elegant cotton poplin, this precious piece is hand-embroidered along the button placket and collar. It is also embroidered with the initials UV. A distinguished addition to any wardrobe, whether vintage or modern!
This piece is in excellent condition, with only slight yellowing on the inside of the collar.
It will fit modern sizes L/XL and XL/XXL (flat bust width: 73 cm. Total length: 117 cm. Sleeve length: 63 cm).
Carefully sourced by Olivia and Vivien, this piece is unique and very old. As such, it may show signs of wear, stains, or other minor imperfections that may have escaped the keen eyes of our two designers. Please appreciate this garment as it is, bearing the charming marks of its rich past!
