Pleated, hand-embroidered and scalloped women's chemise, size S/M-M/L
A romantic chemise dating (most likely) from the first half of the 19th century.
Made from soft cotton poplin, this delicately pleated piece is hand-embroidered and beautifully scalloped along the neckline and armholes. It is also embroidered with the initials AF. With the right accessories, it can easily be transformed into a modern dress!
This piece is in very good condition, with no visible stains. A past repair can be seen at the left underarm on the chest, and a small hole is present on the back, which can easily be mended.
It will fit modern sizes S/M and M/L (flat bust width: 52 cm. Total length: 103 cm).
