Hand-embroidered and scalloped women's chemise, size S/M-M/L (1800-1850)
A delicate chemise dating (most likely) from the first half of the 19th century.
Crafted from lightweight cotton poplin, this precious piece is hand-embroidered and features finely scalloped detailing along the neckline and armholes. It is also embroidered with the initials AF. Wear it on its own during warm summer days or style it as a blouse with your favorite skirts!
This piece is in very good condition, with no visible stains. A small tear can be noted at the neckline, and some buttons are missing from the right shoulder—an opportunity to personalize it to your taste!
It will fit modern sizes S/M and M/L (flat bust width: 59 cm. Total length: 91 cm).
