This stole was entirely hand knitted in the countryside of Lithuania. It takes between 190 to 250 hours of work to make it.

It is customary to offer this kind of stoles to the bride also according to the original Irish tradition. It was the daughter of Pierre Le Grand who made the Russian aristocrats discover this magical lace. The traditional version is made of goat down from Orenburg. The summer version in linen is a variant more particularly from the Baltic countries, Belarus and Ukraine.
