DIY Halloween Pumpkin Cake (Vegan)
We’re 11 days down to Halloween and we do not know what’s scarier, the latest debate or your lack of culinary inspiration. Of course, you’ve overheard of “Pumpkin Spice” recipes, yet few of them are made of natural or vegan ingredients.
So why not getting yourself a nice pumpkin and baking something on your own? You’ll even be able to compete with Morticia’s decoration tastes if you decide you carve it, and to serve the cake for tea time to your dead pals and other brainless friends next to the fireplace.
All you’ll need is 300g of mashed, cooked pumpkin, and a preheated oven at 180 C°, not much hotter than hell but certainly colder than you.
Then add 100ml of vegetal oil to your cauldron as well as 200g of brown sugar, a tea spoon of vanilla powder and 50ml of vegetal cream of your taste.
Between two spells , add 250 g of flour to your preparation, half a pack of yeast, perhaps a finger or two, but really boo, it’s up to you, a tablespoon of cinnamon powder, a ghostly amount of salt and the final touch, chocolate chips to your liking.
You try pimples out, but it doesn’t match well with every brews, we’re afraid.
Sprinkle some pumpkin seeds on top to make it all fancy and bake during 30/40 minutes: spike the preparation from the tip of your wand and if it comes out dry, it’s done!
